crime and punishment.
Friday could be much more relaxed if it were not for PE. I like PE, though. Exercising helps me to stay balanced. But with all that homework and coding, I barely have any time for the gym.
Michael hates PE and tries to avoid it as much as possible. I get him; he's always bullied because of his lanky, skinny stature. He's weaker than everyone else in the class. Good thing he's not fat, or things could be much worse for him. Anyways, I keep his bullies at bay. I’m not the popular kid in class, but at least they don't risk messing with me. It always ends badly for them. Aniko knows how to be mean, and I learned from him.
Michael and I talked a bit. Michael's dad took away all his gadgets. He should do better with the next test to see them back. Michael deleted our chats and my contacts, so nobody knows we are friends. It's wild. It's just a test. It's just one point.
Are we circus monkeys? Are we expected to perform out of fear of the punishment? They say they prepare us for adult life, but it's stupid monkey business, literally and metaphorically! Besides, adults do thrice the awful shit kids do, and very often they get just a mere slap on the wrist. Scoring 59 out of 60 is a much worse crime than, let's say, murder, it seems.
Hypocrites. All of them.
I told Mic that my stepfather had hit me in the chest for not scoring 61. "But this is impossible!" he exclaimed. Yes, my friend. Precisely. Asking impossible things and then abusing me for not doing them. And yes, domestic abuse should be reported, but Otto is a big freaking boss at the police. My words against his. Who would listen to the angsty teenager who has internet addiction and now acts upon it?
They are ready to bully all the people from the Internet for talking about sex and drawing tits, but they will never—NEVER—listen to anyone who actually needs help. They will never bully abusive parents from your home. They will never bully pedo teachers into jail. Because it's ugly and it's difficult and it's problematic. Drawn tits will not talk back, right?
And not that the Internet problem doesn't exist. Not that actual predators don't exist. But you should have a responsible adult you can trust to talk to you. Someone on the old-school forum for… let's say coding enthusiasts tried to befriend me, but Aniko quickly explained that this person doesn't have pure friendly intentions in mind. He offered to test the waters and play along just a little bit. Aniko was right. It was the most disgusting creep I have ever encountered in my life. I reported him to the admin but ended up getting banned together with him because I am not 18 yet. He said that I am cool and I could get back in three years, though.
That's how I learned how to distinguish creeps, lurk more, and use Aniko for age verification.
It's good I have him as my friend. He is like an older brother to me.
I haven't told Michael about his new hobby, by the way. Mic is devastated with his home situation, so it's better to keep my recent developments for better times.
Now I have a whole weekend to freelance, to code, and to figure things out with everything.
